Side Wall Protection Assist¹⁾ ²⁾ monitors the surroundings with 16 ultrasonic sensors and warns about posts, walls and other road users. A glance at the display allows a 360° panoramic view from the driver’s seat and shows any risk of collision in the planned lane. If you name it crosses the path while parking or manoeuvring, an acoustic signal warns of a possible collision.

Keeping an eye on the surroundings

The Side Wall Protection Assist¹⁾ ²⁾ monitors the flanks of the vehicle and warns both visually and with an acoustic signal in the event of critical approaches to obstacles and persons.

At low speed, depending on how much the steering wheel is turned, the spaces around the vehicle are monitored and the system warns of impending collisions.
