Combining fully hydraulically driven sweepers and the MAN TipMatic¹⁾ semi-automatic manual gearbox protects both engine and gearbox: The MAN TipMatic¹⁾ SWEEPER gearshift program adapts gearshift points and engine speed to the driving and cleaning mode of the sweeper. This means that fuel consumption is reduced. MAN TipMatic¹⁾ SWEEPER can also be used for vehicles with hydrostatic drive.

Clever gearshift strategy for refuse collectors: MAN TipMatic¹⁾ COLLECT

The MAN TipMatic¹⁾ COLLECT gearshift program was developed especially for refuse collector vehicles. The gearshift behaviour of the automated gearbox is adapted to the driving cycle of the refuse collector: frequent moving off, short-term braking. The shortened shifting time reduces the duration of the daily tour and saves fuel. The gearshift strategy is suitable for use with both rear loaders and side loaders.
